Digital visualization of historical monuments in Veliki Preslav
Museum of Archeology in Veliki Preslav
BGN 18,100
This agreeable project is initiated by archeologists working in the History Museums of Shumen and Museum of Archeology in Veliki Preslav who teamed up with the bright kids from the ‘Virtual Archeology’ Club with the Mathematic High School ‘Nancho Popovich’ in Shumen. The common goal of the two groups is to contribute to the advance of heritage tourism in the region by presenting in a modern and ‘tourist-friendly’ way its rich cultural legacy. A short ‘documentary’ based on the latest archeological findings in Veliki Preslav, the capital town of the First Bulgarian Kingdom, will be developed, featuring a digital reconstruction of the tzar’s palace and the adjacent ‘Fountain Square’. Visual material will be drawn from all available historic sources to build as realistic as possible picture of the early Medieval town and the way of life of its inhabitants. It will be subtitled in English, French, German and Russian to accommodate the interest of the main foreign tourist groups.
We are performing technical maintenance on our website and the project database will not be accessible until 4 pm today.
