After a number of visits to Bulgaria by representatives of the Drama League and other US theatre professionals in 2010 and 2011 and a visit of Bulgarian theatre professionals to the US in June 2011, the US- Bulgarian Stage Directors Exchange Program was established. Under the program, ABF supports Daniela Varon, an actress and a director at the Shakespeare & Co. in Lenox, Massachusetts who is invited to participate in a “I am an actress” workshop at Sfumato Theatre in Sofia.
