Second Bulgarian National English Spelling Bee

After the success of the first competition, the Center for Inclusive Education in partnership with the Peace Corps Volunteers will organize the Second Bulgarian National English Spelling Bee. More than 1,500 students aged 9-14 years will participate in local competitions in 80 schools all over the country in late March 2012. Six regional competitions will send out the best 20 kids to the national final in May 2012 in Sofia. All participants at each of the competition rounds will be recognized for their participation, but only the WINNER will get the big award. All participants at the national round and their English teachers will spend a week in a summer camp to continue to improve their English language skills.
