The Forbidden for Adults International Theater Festival – Smolyan 2014

Pro Rodopi Foundation was registered in 2008 and is based in Bostina, a small village in the Rodopi Mountain, close to Smolyan. Peter Todorov, its founder, is a puppet theater director whose mission is to popularize theater and the arts in general. The purpose of the project is to trigger the interest in the youngest in theater and give them access to this type of art in a region where art events are scarce and usually limited to folklore. This year, the festival will take place October 6 to 10 with 10 participants from Bulgaria, Turkey and the Netherlands.
