This grant is to cultivate love in jazz music with children and students and revive the tradition of school brass bands. The project is initiated and managed by Brass Association – an orchestra of 17 popular brass musicians. The program includes performances in a number of Sofia schools during the big break, workshops with students 4-7 grade, concerts in the open at the National Theatre downtown Sofia each Friday and forming of a Young Sofia Brazz – an orchestra with the most talented and interested students from the schools that hosted the program.
