Modernizing Education at Vassil Aprilov School

The ambition of Vassil Aprilov School is to create an environment that will be the model of the School of the Future. The project will entirely reorganize and refurbish the premises on the third floor of the building and will introduce new technologies to the classrooms. The initiative will modernize 8 classrooms and a resource center where the teachers will prepare for the classes. Each room will be equipped with an interactive white board, computer and multimedia. Internet access throughout the school will allow students and teachers to use the new electronic textbooks that are already available on Bulgarian market, and to benefit from the numerous teaching aids and resources available on the net. One of the rooms will be a specialized laboratory for developing the IT skills of the students. The 30 personal computers there will allow individual work of each kid. The adjacent hallways will be modernized to provide an environment that stimulates creative thinking and develops important social skills of the students. The school will contribute additional BGN 93,253 to the project implementation.
