The main goal of the project is the use of contemporary technologies in making the teaching process interactive and adequate to the needs of the new digital generation. In order to achieve it, the school plans to establish a Center for Interactive Education where classes in several subjects can take place. The new facility will encompass five classrooms with Internet access, a storage place, and the adjacent hallway. One of the premises will be organized as a multi-purpose room with 16 computerized working places, interactive board and multimedia. The Center will have two computer laboratories with 27 working stations connected to a server, and two rooms for the social and nature science classes. The renovation of the existing premises will be an important part of the effort, given the age of the building and its status of a monument of culture. The refurbished and equipped facilities will lead to the application of real interactive methods of teaching and will create an environment that stimulates students’ creativity and motivates all participants in the educational process. The school will contribute additional BGN 40,049 to the project implementation.
