The 3rd National English Spelling Bee in Bulgaria is a continuation of the effort to support English language students and teachers in Bulgaria and to continue bringing excitement and motivation to the study of English. The competition has proven so far to be a successful educational tool for promoting general language improvement, expanded vocabulary, accurate word usage, and proper pronunciation in English. This year project will include organizing 250 local, 10 regional, and 1 national Spelling Bee competitions; 6 regional workshops for teachers; and a summer camp for select students and teachers. The project will involve 5,000 students ages 9-14 from 250 schools around the country.
