Fortissimo has been a key project for ABF’s Arts and Culture Program, as it corresponds the key values of ABF: to educate children, students and families in music appreciation, to bring the young audience back to the concert halls and to give access to classical music to every child in Bulgaria. The program has been inspired and managed by Maxim Eshkenazy who imported to Bulgaria his experience at the Pacific Symphony Orchestra in Orange County, CA, USA. The project includes three programs: Fortissimo Class, educating fourth-graders at over 30 Bulgarian schools in classical music; Fortissimo Family, performing family concerts at Bulgaria Hall and Fortissimo Fest with concerts in the open to popularize classical music to a large and diverse audience.
