“Motivating teachers for every child” Program focuses on the recruitment, training and support of young specialists in their role as effective motivating teachers of students in some of the most needy communities in Bulgaria. Through improved teaching and support for underprivileged and underperforming students, the program aims to increase student achievement and motivation levels and to have a positive impact on its partner schools and their communities. The Program also develops a network of successful teachers, school communities and societal leaders committed to changing structural and systemic barriers in Bulgaria’s educational system which currently prevent every child from obtaining a quality education needed for professional and life success. Over the 5-year grant period, the projected number of program participants is over 350 and of the number students whose academic success and life opportunities will be impacted – over 30 000.
