This grant will support the 26-th edition of the International Ballet Competition in Varna, in June 2014. This edition will be particularly important, as it will mark 50 years of the event, founded way back in 1964. IBC is one of the most prestigious ballet events in the world. It gives a stage of young talents – up to 25 years of age. Some of the brightest stars in ballet have made their first steps towards bright world careers in Varna: Vladimir Vasiliev, Natalia Makarova, Natalia Besmertnova, Ekaterina Maximova, Patrick Dupont, Rasta Thomas, Maximiliano Guerra, etc.
