The requested grant will support two programs of Art Office: “Art on the road” that distributes private art organizations artistic products outside of Sofia, and the “Bulgarian-American Theater Exchange Program”, carried out in partnership with the Drama League and the Trust for Mutual Understanding in the US. ABF matches funds for the travel and accommodation of Bulgarian theater professionals to the US. Art on the Road and US-Bulgarian Theatre Exchange Project are important for stimulating the private entrepreneurship in the arts and building capacity in private art organizations to market their performances, improve the quality of their project management, learn from the best practices in the US and implement them in Bulgaria.
