This grant supports the US-Bulgarian exchange in dance and gives opportunity to young Bulgarian dancers to get training in various dance techniques by American professors. It also provides stipends to talented young Bulgarian dancers to go to top-ballet and arts schools: Pacific Northwest Ballet, Alvin Ailey School, Syracuse University, for short-term trainings. This year, workshops will be held in March 31-April 06 in Sofia and in August 18-30, 2014 in Burgas. The workshops include flash mobs, performances in open stages at various events, including One Dance Week.
