The grant will build on the success of the series of articles published in Vagabond Monthly by expanding the content of the publication, producing a book with selected materials from “High Beam” with further information and photographs and publishing two guides for Roman and Thracian archaeological sites in Bulgaria. At the same time, Vagabond’s high standards of journalism will ensure that the topics of interest are presented in an easily understandable for English speakers manner, stimulating interest in Bulgaria’s culture and history, all the while emphasizing the past and present relationships between Bulgaria and the United States
