This grant is to support a project for presenting contemporary American art to Bulgaria. The project aims at triggering the artistic potential of Bulgarian artists, professors at art schools and academies, art critics and contemporary art collectors. It includes two exhibits – one in the summer and one in the fall of 2014 of two contemporary American artists – Shannon Plumb (her first feature film “Towheads” was on view at MоMA in New York from January 23-29, 2014 with huge success) and Brian Dailey (his video “Jikai” will be projected on the screens of Times Square in February 1-28,2014).
