The Center for Inclusive Education will implement a targeted program to train a select group of 75 primary school teachers and 20 special education professionals to work with children with Special Education Needs. The program will focus on creating and inclusive school environment at five Bulgarian schools where it will identify and work with SEN children to help them succeed in mainstream education. The program will use cutting-edge know-how, acquired and developed through partnerships with leading US institutions. The program will develop an exhaustive online resource center for special education professionals, teachers, and parents. The program will also work towards elevating the public discussion on SEN policies.
