The sixth round of the Bulgarian Young Leaders Program (BYLP) begins in Decemver 2014 involves 4 components: 1) [b]Summer Entrepreneurship Program (SEP)[/b]: This curstom-designed program provides 20 talented undergraduate and graduate students with five weeks of training in entrepreneurship and leadership development in the United States. 2) [b]Junior Justice Professionals’ Training Program (JJPTP)[/b]: The program involves 15 Judicial professionals (Court Presidents, District Attorneys, and members of the Supreme Judicial Council). The program includes a U.S.-based professional training with visits to three cities, each tied to a specific training module. 3) [b]Education Leaders’ Training Program (ELTP)[/b]: This component involves 15 secondary school teachers. The educators travel to the U.S. for a dynamic three-week training program, including academic sessions, followed by a practicum at New York City schools. 4) [b]Principals Training Program (PTP)[/b]: The program includes two stages: 1) a week-long Bulgarian seminar for 30 principals from around the country and 2) an exchange program in the United States for the 10 participants who submit the most rigorous School Innovation Plans. The purpose of the program is to identify and develop young entrepreneurs, young civil service professionals, and secondary school educators in Bulgaria who have the potential to assume positions of leadership and contribute to the prosperity of the country.
