With this educational project 12 high school students, selected in an open competition for students from all over Bulgaria, will be given an opportunity to take part in a one-week specialized Summer Academy. During the training, the students will deepen their knowledge on current challenges of our times, and will have the chance to learn more about some of the innovative concepts for sustainable development that are being studied and taught worldwide, such as: biomimicry, circular and blue economy. Apart from learning about key principles, concepts and case studies, they will work together in small teams presenting their solutions to the other participants, and be actively involved in discussions and debates. The main goal of the project is to enthuse young people to start thinking out-of-the box and believe in their potential to become the future entrepreneurs who could find solutions to some of the pressing problems our society is facing today in the move towards environmental stewardship and sustainable development through inspiration by Nature and encouragement of imagination and innovative thinking.
