Varna Jazz Society traditionally organizes the International Jazz Festival Varna Summer 2014. The aim of the project is to present remarkable, symbolic and authentic jazz music from Bulgaria and Europe. In August 1-3, 2014, the 23rd edition of the festival will take place, focusing on young and famous Bulgarian jazz musicians who live and work here or abroad. Among them them are Plamen Karadonev, USA (piano), Miroslav Ivanov, Bulgaria (guitar). Tomash Stankos’ quartet (Poland), FKP trio (Ukraine), Shuffle Demons quintet (Canada) are among the international bands which will perform.
