Kathryn Posin is an American choreographer whose works have been staged in the ABF-supported American Ballet for Bulgaria several years in a row. She has now applied to us with her new project: “Voices of Bulgaria and America”, celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Kathryn Posin Dance Company. The project has been invited to open the season of the prestigious 92nd Street YMHA in New York in October 2014. It aims at triggering the interest in the American audience in Bulgaria, its art and artists. There will be four performances, October 17, 18 and 19, including a lecture on Bulgaria’s Bridges to the World: Ballet and Music with the international dance critic and former Varna Ballet Competition judge, George Jackson moderating.
