ABF supports Piano Extravaganza- a 10-day music festival in Sofia, for a sixth consecutive year. The musicians invited to perform at the festival are internationally acclaimed artists with recognized craftsmanship in the field of rarely performed repertoire, or just innovative performers that wish to explore such a repertoire. The selection of the artistic team for each edition of the festival is done by Ludmil Angelov, who has got an important experience as an Artistic Director of Toledo International Music Festival since 1994 up to the present time. For the past five editions, 310 pieces of 82 composers have been presented. 39 musicians from 17 countries participated.

In 2016, the festival will take place September 23 to November 23 and will be held at the Military Club in Sofia and the National Art Gallery. It will include 11 concerts – 6 large, performed with an orchestra, and 5 recitals of promising young performers.
