Steinway Grand Piano Purchase

America for Bulgaria Foundation approached the Board of Trustees of the Prof. Veselin Stoyanov National School of Arts in Ruse impressed by the fundraising initiative they started in January 2016 together with the Ruse Free Spirit City Municipal Foundation. According to the principal Maria Dukanova, the first and the only purchase of pianos for the school was made 50 years ago when 45 pianos and 3 grand pianos were bought. At the same time, 350 students are currently studying piano, pop and jazz vocals and use the school pianos on a regular basis. In addition to the regular school lessons, the school hosts concerts, various master classes, and competitions.

ABF suggested to fund the purchase price of a Steinway Grand Piano Steinway B-211. The grand piano will be placed in the small concert hall of the Ruse National School of Arts.
