This grant promotes the reform of the library sector in Bulgaria through continued support to the Bulgarian Library and Information Association (BLIA). BLIA activities will be the driving force seeking to modernize the libraries and make them adequate to the needs of contemporary society. The program will focus on: school libraries; promotion and encouragement of reading, particularly of kids and young children; life-long learning; and modernization of library services.
