Supporting Star Dust Amateur Theater Festival is part of ABF’s goals to diversify its art portfolio outside of Sofia and help local organizations to develop their own projects. Star Dust Amateur Theatre Festival is held in Knezha – a small town with less than 12,000 inhabitants located in Northern Bulgaria. Since 2008, Star Dust Amateur Theatre Festival is one of the biggest cultural events in town. The 8th edition of the project will take place June 29-July 05 and will include 12 plays in that 7 Bulgarian and 5 international. The program also includes a parade, brass orchestra and string quartet concerts, dance performances, exhibitions, and daily workshops on drama techniques.
