Telerik Academy is a leading educational organization for training software engineers in Bulgaria. Telerik Academy helps children, students, and adults develop programming skills and get jobs in the competitive IT industry. This program will allow the Academy to extend the scale and scope of its youth initiatives involving students from the fourth to the twelfth grade. Two entirely new programs, in digital software and game development, will be piloted in Sofia, Gabrovo, Vratsa, and Razgrad. The Digital Sciences program will help students develop key digital skills and become familiar with the jobs of the future, not only in programming but in other spheres as well. The game development program will enhance students’ logical thinking and creativity and teach them programming basics while they are creating computer games. Over the next three years, the Academy will allow nearly 6,000 students from 13 cities throughout the country to develop their logical thinking and programming skills free of charge, under the mentorship of the best practitioners in the sector.
