The project aims to advance high professional standards in journalism, promote media independence, and boost the media literacy of high school students. In addition, the project includes regular monitoring of the media environment, organizing trainings for journalists, advocacy and public communication on key media topics, and expansion of the media literacy program. In the long run, the goal of the program is to inspire the next generation of Bulgarian journalists to follow the highest standards in journalism and work to improve the deteriorating state of media by reporting on cases of abuse of power, corruption, and injustice.
