The project supports Starshel (“Hornet”), a weekly satirical publication, in its efforts to increase its capacity for producing quality content and to expand the rubrics that shed light on institutional malfeasance, expose corruption, and counter xenophobia and populism in public life. The Hornet’s editors will also be offering professional skills mentorship to students from the journalism schools of prominent Bulgarian universities.
