“Before you advertise, you have to know how to sell.” This was an important lesson during the lecture by Dr. Anton Kostadinov at the “Business Workshop On Local Foods” campaign, whose main purpose is to help start-up micro-businesses. Expert teams traveled around Plovdiv, Sofia, Montana, Rousse, Varna and Bourgas to share experiences with those planning to launch or already working on micro-businesses in the field of agriculture and food.
The sessions on marketing and the power of small producers, a topic presented by Gergana Kabaivanova, attracted great attention. In addition, telling stories about the food, the people who provide it for our table, and the important moments in the communication were presented by Teodora Ivanova-Valeva from IVersa.
Facilitated conditions for micro-productions are possible was the main message of Dr. Iliyan Kostov, European Food Safety Expert and Deputy Director of the Center for Risk Assessment of the Food Chain at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Desislava Dimitrova focused on SlowFood Bulgaria and protected brands and regions.
