The Leaders in Agriculture Program is an initiative of the America for Bulgaria Foundation that offers short-term experiential training in the United States for Bulgarian farmers, managers, technical specialists, researchers, university professors, and agricultural administrators. In 2019, eight agriculture professionals, selected after an open competition, will take part in a training program in the United States on the topic of tree nut production and processing. During the program, participants will meet with agriculture practitioners, participate in field observations and industry visits, and attend university courses, seminars, conferences, and expos.
