The Astronomy and Astrophysics Summer School is an intensive two-week astronomy and astrophysics practical education program for high school and university students. The program has been organized annually for the past 44 years by Astronomy Club Vega – Kardzhali. The Astronomy Club Vega will attract Bulgarian students to participate in the next three editions of the Astronomy and Astrophysics Summer School. As in previous editions, participants will conduct original research under the mentorship of renowned specialists from Harvard University, Boston University, University of Leeds, the Technology Institute of Dublin, the Research Institute for Molecular Pathology in Vienna, and Sofia University. The project will also equip the Summer School with a specialized astronomical camera for night-sky image processing.
