This is a grant to support Derida Dance Center - one of the few private Bulgarian contemporary dance companies. In the last three years, Derida became a leader in Bulgaria’s contemporary dance stage and a European example for entrepreneurship in the arts. It fills in a niche of contemporary dance training of young Bulgarian dancers, popularizes contemporary dance in Bulgaria and abroad. Using the requested grant, in 2016 Derida Dance Center will start the fourth edition of Dance Port Derida project including a new workshop in classical ballet.
