Debaters are inquisitive, curious, active, cool people with their own opinions who have a vision of what they want to achieve and have an idea of how this will happen.

The Sofia Debate Association, with support of America for Bulgaria Foundation, is working to revive the Bulgarian tradition in students' debates.
The goal is for Bulgaria to have an active national network of debate clubs, contestants, coaches and competitions within a few years.
The project will expand the network of debate clubs in high schools and universities across the country. In the coming year, Sofia Debate Association will train 300 debating coaches and 1000 debaters. The project will support the organization of 25 local, 12 regional and six national and international debating events.
