This grant will support the fifth edition of the Dance Port Derida project - a year-long educational and training program in two different dancing genres - contemporary dance and classical ballet. More than 100 professional dancers have taken part in Dance Port Derida since it was launched in 2011. Each year, about 30 new freelance dancers participate in ten ateliers, trained by American and European choreographers. As a result of the program, 13 productions with dancers from Dance Port Derida have been staged since its beginning.
