March Music Days Junior - 2018
Ruse Municipality

BGN 30,000

Every year in March, the city of Ruse becomes the capital of music in Bulgaria, hosting the March Music Days International Festival. Each year, the festival attracts over 8,000 viewers and 600 participants from more than 15 countries around the globe. After 58 editions, in 2015, March Music Days expanded its program to include educational concerts for children. To encourage the younger generation’s interest in classical music, the America for Bulgaria Foundation, together with Ruse Municipality, launched March Music Days Junior. This March, the fourth edition of the project will include 12 classical and jazz music concerts, among them the Windy Brass Pillow Concert, presenting the family of woodwind music instruments; When Classics Meets Jazz, commemorating Gershwin and Bernstein; Percussion Cocktail, presenting American percussion music from the twentieth and twenty-first centuries; and The Merry Town Musicians, commemorating the 85th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Vladigerov, the master of Bulgarian children’s musicals.

We are performing technical maintenance on our website and the project database will not be accessible until 4 pm today.
