This grant is to support the fifth edition of the Allegra Music Academy and Festival in Ruse, on July 13–26, 2019. Allegra is an intensive ten-day practical program that aims to improve students’ performance and music perception skills. In 2018, a festival orchestra was formed to help participants practice together and experience being part of an orchestra. In 2019, the Academy will offer six master classes—in violin, viola, cello, chamber music, guitar, and orchestra conducting.
