Jessup Moot Court Competition, Future Leaders in Law, Business and Society
International Moot Court Competitions Association

USD 98,660

The grant supports the participation of a Bulgarian team in the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition, a simulation of a court dispute between two countries before the International Court of Justice. It allows the applicant to invite international lawyers each year who join prominent Bulgarian jurists as arbitrators in the national-round jury panels, thereby adding an educational dimension to the competition. The Jessup experience helps to build crucial skills that young legal professionals need to succeed, such as practical legal research, analysis and reasoning, succinct and convincing legal writing, the ability to present complex ideas and to react to questions under pressure and in real time, and networking with peers, legal practitioners, and academics in an international setting.

We are performing technical maintenance on our website and the project database will not be accessible until 4 pm today.
