Vrachanski Balkan Nature Park Adventure Festival – Engage Community Involvement for Tourism Development

This grant will support an adventure festival in Vrachanski Balkan Nature Park in July 2021 and a series of training programs for tourism stakeholders in the Vratsa region who will take part in the festival. Some of the festival activities available for tourists will include mountain biking, road cycling, kayaking, climbing, paragliding, hiking, and photo tours. In addition, museums and community centers in the region will be open to the public and will promote local culture and traditions through culinary workshops with local products and activities for children. The project will play an important role in engaging the local community and building partnerships with the Vrachanski Balkan Nature Park, Vratsa Municipality, the Open Vratsa tourist platform, tourism providers, and cultural centers.
