The project supports the partnership between business and academia to provide adequate training to underserved vocational schools in the Plovdiv area. Two companies based in Trakia Economic Zone will equip technology labs at two schools, where students will get practical technical training using modern machines and equipment. The Trakia Economic Zone (TEZ) is as an intermediary, overseeing administration and teacher training. Connecting businesses from the Trakia Economic Zone to academia is a pilot project with the potential to grow and be a good example for other businesses in the country experiencing employee shortages.
