The Local Integrity System Index (LISI) is a long-term initiative that examines corruption risks in local governance, assesses the potential of key public actors to counter corruption, and proposes relevant policies to this effect. The index developed by Transparency International and adapted to the Bulgarian context assesses corruption risks and anti-corruption capacity for municipal councils, mayors, local administration, the judiciary, law enforcement, local political actors, businesses, media, and civil society.
