"Hello, Space | Bulgaria Calling" STEAM & Space Festival

The purpose of this micro-grant is to support the second edition of the "Hello, Space | Bulgaria Calling" Festival that will be held on September 13 at Sofia Tech Park. The aim of the festival is to promote STEAM careers among young people. There will be a live connection with the first mother in space, NASA’s Anna Fisher; a virtual walk around CERN; and a demonstration flight over Sofia Tech Park by world record–setting pilot Nikolay Kalaydzhiev. Associate Professor Lachezar Georgiev will present his project on quantum communication, and there will also be expert lectures and various workshops and activities for children and youth, including an evening entertainment program.
