Roma Income Generation and Integration
Land Source of Income Foundation

BGN 577,990

The Land Foundation currently works with 71 Roma families in the Plovdiv region. To date, they have supported 127 micro-loans for land, equipment, or new business registration. Seventy of these contracts have been paid back in full, and hundreds of Roma individuals have benefited from their unique approach, which combines microcredit with ongoing mentoring and agricultural and financial consultation. This program will seek to expand the program, by partnering with other local institutions interested in implementing a similar approach to income generation for families at the bottom of the economic ladder. The Land Foundation will train and mentor interested partner organizations and will provide mentoring and access to microcredit for new families that wish to participate in the program.

We are performing technical maintenance on our website and the project database will not be accessible until 4 pm today.
