Celebration of 80-th anniversary of Ms. Kabaivanska, Providing stipends

ABF has been supporting the Raina Kabaivanska Fund since 2009 providing stipends to talented Bulgarian opera students. Around 20 students from many countries around the globe attend the master class each year. It is a two-week intensive training on behalf of Ms. Kabaivanska. Then a closing gala concert is held and the nominated students are awarded. In 2014, the master class will take place September 6 – 20 at the Sofia Opera, with a closing gala on September 20. The deadline for students to apply with the program is September 2. In addition to the master class and stipends to the best students, the grant this year will also support a large charity concert at Hall 1 of NDK in December, to celebrate Ms. Kabaivanska’s 80-th anniversary.
