The project commits ABF’s support for the preparation and participation of Bulgarian Olympic teams in natural sciences at international Olympiads and competitions for three years. The foundation will support the teams in informatics, linguistics, physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy, and the team of young physicists. Some fifty (50) students will participate at 13 different international competitions annually. The project also addresses the lack of appropriate environment for the development of practical skills and knowledge of young Bulgarians by allocation of some BGN 200,000 for the refurbishment of two laboratories in chemistry and biology at the respective departments of Sofia University.
