It has been three years now that Lom is hosting the Krystio Pishurka International Amateur Theatre Festival, included in the cultural calendar of the Ministry of Culture. In 2011 the international participation has expanded and theatres from Serbia, Macedonia, Ukraine, the UK and Spain have confirmed that they will come to Lom. Previous editions of the festival have been attended by over 3,200 viewers. The festival is important for developing cultural tourism and supporting the local economy in town.
