The objective of the project is to establish a National Demonstration Site for New Agricultural Technologies at the main campus of the Agricultural University – Plovdiv where newly developed agricultural technologies can be openly assessed and demonstrated to a wider audience. The site will function as a permanent exhibition place where demonstrations of new technology solutions will be rotated throughout the year in accordance with the growing season and the actual needs of the various phases of crop production. The solutions and specialized equipment presented will cover all main stages in agriculture - from land and soil preparation, planting and irrigation technologies, crop production and protection through to harvesting. By supporting the establishment of the NDSNAT, we aim at contributing to the creation of innovation-driven business environment which will be beneficial to all stakeholders engaged in the development of sustainable agriculture in Bulgaria.
