Masters of Photography is a project which aims at presenting the most influential American photographers of the 20th and 21st century to the Bulgarian audience. The selection is quite diverse, including photo classics such as Harry Benson – one of the legendary photographers of the last century and young rising stars like Ben Ritter whose exhibits we saw in 2014. This grant will fund exhibits of Ryan McGinley in December 2014, Richard Avedon and Terry Richardson in 2015. In addition to the exhibits, the project has a significant educational component, consisting of lectures and master classes.
