BFA works for increasing the awareness for the importance of festivals within the political and public sectors and speaks with the voice of 22 organizations across Bulgaria. One of the BFA’s objectives is to provide opportunities for professional training of young art managers. In 2014, with the support of ABF, three Bulgarian festival managers: Martin Kadinov – On Fest, Boyana Gyaurova – One Design Week and Nia Pushkarova - Water Tower Art Fest will attend an atelier for young festival managers in Edinburgh. Part of the grant will also be used for the annual BFA conference in Varna in June 2014.
