The America for Bulgaria Foundation (ABF) is uniting efforts with the Bulgarian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (BVCA), Solutions for the Future Foundation and the Bulgarian Entrepreneurship Center (BEC) to address the worrying demographic trends in Bulgaria – a barrier to economic development and strategic foreign investments. This joint initiative aims to re-engage the Bulgarian diaspora in the United States through a series of events in the biggest “Bulgarian hubs”. The initiative revolves around three key areas: entrepreneurship, investment, and giving back to worthy charitable causes in Bulgaria. The first series of events were held in early March 2019 in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle attracting nearly 500 attendees. In November 2019 RE:TURN will meet with the Bulgarian diaspora in Washington, DC, New York and Boston.
