For a second consecutive year, the Center for Inclusive Education started a national campaign “Days of Inclusion”. This year, pupils from all over Bulgaria will look for the teacher who loves all of his students. The face of the initiative is the idol of all school-age children – vlogger Chris Zahariev.
The campaign is focused on the inclusive teacher – the one who loves everyone. The idea is for pupils to create something unforgettable about their favourite teacher. To participate in the campaign, every class will choose one teacher and secretly plan and carry out a surprise which will inspire and make their teacher happy.
The surprise should be recorded on a video of up to 3 minutes and uploaded here from April 5 to May 12, 2017.
A special jury will choose the class with the most exciting story and will be guided by the criteria of teamwork, an interesting idea, and an emotional story about the inclusive and supportive teacher.
The prize for the winning class will be a hot-air balloon ride at a special event in Sofia at the end of May. There also will be an audience award for the video which gathered the most likes on the Facebook platform of the campaign.
The first surprise has already happened – Class 7A from the 104th elementary school, with the help of Chris Zahariev, gave their favourite class teacher Pavel Petrov an unforgettable Monday. Watch the video of the surprise HERE.
The Center for Inclusive Education’s “The Teacher Who Loves All of His Students” initiative is part of the “Days of Inclusive Education 2017” national campaign. It is being held within the “One School for All” program with the support of the America for Bulgaria Foundation. CIE, together with partner schools from all over the country, focus on applying and perfecting the first Bulgarian model for organizing school processes for building an inclusive school environment.
