You may remember a few weeks ago we wished success to our national team in international law? They returned with pride from the World Championship Philip C. Jessup in the United States ranked 16th in the world, besting Humboldt University in Berlin and Georgetown University in Washington, DC. The Sofia University team includes Valeri Blagoev, Debora Dineva, Nikoleta Vassileva, Anna-Maria Spassova and Biliana Manova.
Three participants – Valeri Blagoev, Bilyana Manova and Anna-Maria Spassova – finished in the top 100 in the individual ranking of the speakers, while Bilyana Manova set a new record for Bulgaria by winning 21st place. Supporting the excellent achievements of Bulgarian students are their coaches from the International Moot Court Competition Association: Evgeni Minchev and Dimitar Gotchev.
ABF has supported the Association for International Law Competition and the participation of the Bulgarian team since 2010 and we are extremely proud that each year the performance of Bulgaria’s teams reaches new heights.
